This privacy policy is provided by the data controller in accordance with article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation: GDPR).

    2. WEBSITE BROWSING DATA
      Access to the website involves the acquisition of browsing data, the transmission of which is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols. The following types of data are included in this category: IP addresses or domain names of the computers and/or other tools used by the user that connects to the website; URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources; the time of the request; the method used to make the request to the server; the size of the file obtained in response; the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.); and other parameters regarding the operating system and the IT environment of the user.
      Data is processed for the following purposes:
      • to enable the functioning (and improvement) of the website and the provision of the services requested by the user;
      • to obtain and use statistical information on the use of the website;
      • to ascertain possible liability in the event of cyber security offences.
      The legal basis is the legitimate interest of the data controller in the performance and improvement of the services provided on the website.
  3. DATA PROVIDED TO REQUEST SERVICES OR INFORMATION: PURPOSES OF PROCESSING AND DATA RETENTION
    1. GENERAL RULES FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF SERVICES
      Users can access the services and requests for information on offer by providing personal identification and/or commercial data, collected through specific forms on the website. In order to access the services, users are required to give consent to the processing of their personal data before sending the form.
      The data provided by filling in this form will be used exclusively to respond to the specific requests of the user and may be processed in the manner strictly necessary to fulfil the purposes indicated above, using paper and electronic files, as well as portable devices.
      The data of the data subject may also be used by partners (including external partners) and secretaries of the attorneys for the sole purpose of fulfilling the mandate received and will not be communicated or disclosed to third parties.
      Personal data may be disclosed and subject to fully automated decision-making processes, including profiling, and will be retained for the time necessary to process the request, without prejudice to further retention requirements in compliance with legal obligations.
      The data will be retained with tools that guarantee its security, integrity and confidentiality through the implementation of adequate security measures in accordance with applicable law.
      The legal basis is the consent given by the data subject and, after acceptance, the fulfilment of the mandate.
    2. NEWSLETTER
      The data controller may provide a section on the website for subscription to the law firm's newsletter, in order to allow subscribers to receive legal material, and to receive information on the activities organised by Loyce Legal or that the latter participates in, including, for example, webinars, training courses and events, which may also be customised.
      To subscribe, the appropriate form must be filled out and at the same time consent must be given to the processing of the requested personal identification and commercial data.
      Data processing may include the monitoring of interactions, including statistics aimed at determining the effectiveness of the newsletter and user preferences, including the opening of emails by users, undelivered emails and access to links.
      The newsletter may be distributed with the help of a platform appointed as Data Processor and the email address provided by the user will be saved on the server of this Data Processor.
      Data subjects may withdraw their consent to the sending of the newsletter by sending a request to the email address of the data controller.
  4. PLUG-INS AND TOOLS
    1. GOOGLE MAPS
      This website uses the Google Maps integration features offered by companies of the Google group. When a user interacts with a Google Maps map within our website, Google stores information on the user and links it to their Google user profile, if they are logged in. This information may be processed by Google for the purposes listed in Google's privacy policy.
    2. GOOGLE ANALYTICS
      This website may use the Google Analytics report features on user engagement offered by companies of the Google group. Google Analytics mainly uses first party cookies. Users can disable these cookies or delete them individually. Google acts as Data Processor for Google Analytics.   5. TRANSFER ABROAD
    The personal data provided by the data subject may be processed or transferred to non-EU countries for the purposes indicated above in compliance with current legislation on the transfer of data to third countries and the guarantees indicated therein (art. 44 et seq., Regulation EU 679/2016).
  6. RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS
    Data subjects may exercise the rights recognised by the legislation on the protection of personal data at any time by sending an email to bolzano@loyce.it. The following rights are granted under the GDPR:
    • the right to ask the attorneys for access to the personal data of the user and the information related to the latter; the rectification of inaccurate data or the integration of incomplete data; the deletion of personal data concerning the user (upon the occurrence of one of the conditions indicated in art. 17, paragraph 1, of the GDPR and in compliance with the exceptions provided for in paragraph 3 of the same article); and the restriction of processing (upon the occurrence of one of the circumstances indicated in art. 18, paragraph 1, of the GDPR);
    • the right to request or obtain the personal data of the user from the attorneys in a structured and machine-readable format, also for the purpose of communicating this data to another data controller (so-called right to portability of personal data) - in the cases where the legal basis for the processing is the agreement or consent, and the processing is carried out using automated means;
    • the right to object to the processing of the personal data of the user at any time upon the occurrence of special situations concerning the user;
    • the right to withdraw consent at any time, in writing, if this is necessary for one or more of the specific processing purposes;
    • the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Italian Data Protection Authority – www.garanteprivacy.it).
